Comelec list of candidates in official ballot for May 2010 election

If you want to know which numbers you need to shade on May 10 election, here are the lists of national candidates based from the official ballot.  Who will you vote this election?  Who do you think will win this election? Who will you vote if there is no SWS survey?  Sometimes, we vote for the lesser evil who has a chance to win rather than voting a better candidate with poor survey results which we think will just waste our vote.  If you are one of these people, better write a comment why you voted for him/her.

I haven’t decided yet. I am opting for Gordon because he is a man of action, and he opts for discipline which I think the Filipino people needs. He has proven great results in Subic and in Wow Philippines. Same as with his tandem Bayani Fernando in MMDA and in Marikina.

I do not want Noynoy, because all he does is criticize Villar to become popular, not to be popular based on what he did. Others say they will vote because it’s Aquino. But what did the previous Pres. Aquino do? Everyday brownout which Ramos needed to give solution during his term.

On the other hand, I cannot vote Villar because he spent too much money (billions) on campaigns alone which I think he will collect when he wins. If I were Villar, of course, I have a long term plan to have my ROI when I win. Besides, he’s all out, go for broke… even borrowing money from bangko sentral. The only thing he may not care is if the money is taken from government/people when he was senator &/ congressman.

Then comes Erap, 3rd on the survey. His first 2 years was a disaster. Replacing Gordon out of personal interest, wakes up late in Malacanang, and has not made the economy improve or didn’t make the poors get rich.

So my best option is Gibo, the only one with clear plans, has greater chances of winning, lesser evil (unlike the 1st 3), intelligent (good aura for president), and has pointed out clearer actions during presidential debates. He’s got the majority vote from students, and what SWS lacks, he has many supporters from provinces.

Thus, I might choose Gibo not because he’s my first choice but because it’s the best choice I have!

I have the same sentiments as you have re the presidentiables. I really think the among them, Gibo is not necessarily the best man, but rather the best choice.
