Former First Lady Imelda Marcos is Ilocos Norte’s 2nd district representative. Marcos won by a landslide.
She got 100,020 votes, beating independent candidate Ferdinand Ignacio, who got 11,320 votes.
It is the former First Lady’s second term as 2nd district representative after her comeback to the political scene in the 2010 elections.
She ran under the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL), which her late husband Ferdinand founded.
On the other hand, Imelda’s daughter Imee, is the proclaimed province’s governor.
