Janet Lim Napoles’ camp is scheduled to give to Justice Secretary Leila De Lima before noon today her comprehensive affidavit containing the participation of some lawmakers, "agents," and other personalities in the multi-billion peso "pork barrel" scam.
De Lima in an interview with the reporters said the affidavit is now complete.
"Her lawyers texted me and told me tapos na, ang kulang na lang ay yung pagpapa-notaryo… Then they will submit to me before noon time," she said.
De Lima will then pass the affidavit, at the same time the first and "initial" affidavit already in her possession to the Senate today. It is part of the compliance of the second extension given to her by the Blue Ribbon Committee.
The Justice chief repeated her plea against exposing the affidavits to public since evaluation of Napoles’ written revelations have yet to be completed by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
"I reiterate my position… of course, I’m not imposing on the Senate, the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee, and Sen. TG Guingona… but I reiterate my position na hindi na muna sana isapubliko ang mga yan," De Lima said.
Menwhile De Lima is also scheduled to submit to the committee a copy of the contents of Benhur Luy’s external hard drive, which will supposedly reveal the accounting records in connection with the controversial pork barrel scam.
