More than a week has passed after the hostage crisis that happened in Quirino Grandstand, President Aquino in a statement declared that he takes full responsibility of what has happened even the outcome during the hostage crisis.

According to the president, it is him and not Secretary Jesse Robredo of Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) who has the direct control of PNP.

When the job was offered to Robredo, he was told by the president to manage other things that concerns local government.

Before Robredo took the job, President Aquino temporarily took on the role as chief of DILG.

Earlier, it was reported that it was DILG Undersecretary Rico Puno who has a direct control of the authorities.

After the president’s admittance, he decided to suspend all those who were involved under PNP chief Jesus Versoza.
